ompetition over-and-under shotguns for clay shooting are a bit like
race cars: they may look like “normal” cars, but when you drive
C them, you get a completely different feeling. The same applies to
shotguns: an excellent hunting shotgun can certainly be “good enough”,
but when you want to get your clay shooting experience to the next level,
you need a specific product, a performing sports tool, in other words,
a custom-built clay buster. For over sixty years, Perazzi has been doing
exactly that: making competition over/unders that have shined in the most
prestigious international competitions, so much so that Perazzi holds the
world record for the most Olympic medals won from 1964 to today.
The history of the company is a typical example of Italian entrepreneurial
genius, born from the passion for firearms, hunting and clay shooting of a
young Daniele Perazzi, a boy of humble origins who at the age of 16 began

1_The barrels are obtained by deep hole drilling; the chamber is chromed and the rest
of the bore is lapped. There is a 3-inch chamber, the forcing cones are standard and the
                 drilling measures 18.6 mm.

2_The chokes are fixed, but it is also possible to choose barrels with removable chokes.
The rib is inversely conical, 7x10 mm, but you can also choose the classic 11x11 or 7x7.
The length and weight of the barrels are customizable, our test gun had a barrel length
of 29.5 inches and a weight of 1,480 grams (3.26 lb.).

3_On the bottom of the receiver there is a red circle, a reference to the Rising Sun,
the symbol of Japan, within which the letter “P” and the name of the shotgun 3
                 are gold-plated and in relief.
