M-LOK slots. There’s also an Anschütz-style “T” rail and an Arca-style dovetail. All of this is integrated into a slim
42 mm (1.6”) wide forend which free floats the barrel and ensures rapid cooling. Fortunately, there are no fixed rails:
yes, they give a “tactical” look and are pleasant to the eye, but they are also useless for competition shooting.
If you want to mount a bipod, you can use the Arca or Anschütz rails. On the test rifle, the Rome bipod was attached
to the Arca rail via the useful knob-equipped Aro214 interface, which allows you to instantly change the position of
the bipod according to the rest or shooting position used. The smooth profile of the forend allows for the optimal use
of a rest while the massive “serrated” ramp, which is close to the magazine well, can be used as a barricade stop.
The central part of the stock precisely accommodates the action without the need for any bedding. The fitting
between the magazine and its housing is also quite precise. The single stack magazine is made of polymer and has a
