The new for Prs
It’s called Venus and it is semi-custom rifle made for the emerging (in Italy) discipline
of PRS, but in general it’s a solid choice for long-range shooting. Three configurations
are planned: we have tested the top-of-the-line model with a 5R Benchmark barrel

nown for its refined tactical
rifles, particularly appreciated
K by the elite operators of many
countries, and thanks to a vast and
established production of long-range
precision weapons, the Italian Victrix
armaments has expanded its own line
of rifles offering a new family of “tools
of the trade” for Precision rifle series
(PRS) competition. The line is called
Venus, which is divided into three
configurations (X, T and V series) and of
which we were able to test the V series,
the top-of-the-line model.
Available in caliber 6 mm Xc, 6 mm
Creedmoor, 6.5x47 mm Lapua, 6.5 mm
Creedmoor, .260 Remington and .308
Winchester, the choice “fell” on the
classic 7.62x51 which, in my personal
opinion and almost 70 years after its
introduction in the sports and military
fields, remains one of the most reliable
chambering for shooting within 800-
1,000 meters (874-1,093 yards).
Always focused on the needs of
shooters, Victrix has decided to leave
its mark also in the small niche (for the
Italian market) of PRS competitions,
which, for some years, have been
increasingly spreading in the USA and
in various European countries.
For this reason, the rifle that we are
going to test has been designed from the
ground up for a specific sport discipline,
even if the innovative technical and
ergonomic solutions adopted also
make it an excellent choice for precision
