designed to manage the caliber used, the Venus V stands out for its follow up shots speed.
The anti-friction finishes on the bolt also contribute to this, with precise tolerances that determine the correct
alignment of the cylinder even when unlocking, as well as the oversized and contoured bolt handle made for
greater ease of use. Furthermore, the handle can be replaced with others of different type in order to meet the needs
of specific competitions or the different physical traits of the user.
On our test rifle, despite being new and broke in only by a few test shots, the movement of the bolt appeared rather
fluid and devoid of those typical and unpleasant “jams” caused by excessive tolerances or sub-par finishes that
often afflict even weapons of the same price range. This is the result of the meticulous machining process of the
action and the extremely smooth surface of the bolt which, together with the PVD finish (opaque for the action and
glossy for the bolt), guarantee the perfect smoothness of the moving parts.
The movement is also facilitated by a firing pin that is cocked on opening through the usual cam profile that

                 1 2 3

1_The bolt handle is oversized and removable for easy replacement. The safety has two positions. 2_The billet bolt has a glossy PVD finish.
3_The bolt head has 3 asymmetrical lugs, with two lugs placed at 105 degrees from the central 12 o’clock one, to facilitate feeding.
