In addition to the Gold version,
the High Tech is also available
           in the Palladium configuration,
           with a receiver embellished
           with palladium accents.

The High Tech 2020 gold is not the only special version made by Perazzi. The shotgun, in fact, is also available in
the Palladium configuration, which has the same characteristics as the gold, but the engravings on the side plates,
hinge pin covers, bottom of the receiver and top lever are plated using palladium instead of gold. in addition to
these two special editions there is also a Black version, with an entirely black receiver, and a classic White model
with a nickel-plated receiver, both characterized by the same contrast between matt and mirror-polished accents.
The price is 22,735 euros for the High Tech 2020 Palladium and 21,235 euros for both the Black and the White version.

               Robust and reliable
The mechanical structure is the same as that adopted on the High Tech series, which in turn was borrowed from the
classic MX8. The trigger assembly is removable by hand by pushing the safety tab forward and pulling down on the
trigger guard. All the small mechanical parts are made from billet steel and there are no cast components. The High
Tech 2020 is equipped as standard with a pair of coil springs, but it is also available on request with the traditional
V-shaped leaf springs. The feeling when firing and the speed are practically the same, but the coil springs are more
resistant and, being mounted on steel guide rods, in case of breakage they continue to work longer, allowing,
               perhaps, to finish the competition.
The trigger is equipped with an inertial single trigger, without the selector for the first barrel. The break is clean,
precise and rather light, without pre-travel. On the tail of the receiver, there is a classic two-position safety. For
               Sporting, Perazzi offers the High Tech S model, with a fixed trigger assembly and a first barrel selector on the safety;
there is also a version with a removable trigger assembly and a selector located behind the trigger.
The locking mechanism is a Boss-style system with two squared lugs, controlled by the top lever, that lock the two
hooks that protrude from the center line of the breeches. In addition, there are two sturdy shoulders inside the
receiver’s sides, which mate with the counter-shoulders on the sides of the monobloc, ensuring great structural
solidity. It is a prestigious locking system, typical of high-end sporting and hunting shotguns, which also allows the
height of the receiver to be reduced, improving weight distribution. The locking parts and the absolutely perfect
barrels/receiver fit are finished by hand.
               Custom stock
The stock of the High Tech 2020 Gold is made of selected SC2 class walnut wood characterized by a dark reddish

tint. The varnished finish has an elegant semi-glossy effect. The stock is custom-made, so length, drop and cast are
modified according to the customer’s requests. In the rear part of the stock, on both sides, there is a laser engraving
with the model’s name, while a curved line carved in the lower part draws the profile of the stock. You can choose
between a round, beavertail or Sporting forend, with a steel forend iron that interacts with the single cocking rod that
slides in the center of the receiver’s base. The shotgun used for our test was equipped with a 370 mm (14.5”) cast-off
stock with a rather “straight” drop, suitable for the Trap shooting. The thin Perazzi recoil pad is made of shock-
               absorbing soft rubber.

               Tested at the range
To test the Perazzi High Tech 2020 Gold, we started with the usual pattern plate. For the first barrel, with an 8/10
choke, we chose a distance of 30 meters (33 yards), while for the second, with a 10/10 choke, we chose a distance
of 34 meters (37 yards). For both patterns we used Fiocchi Golden Trap ammo with 28 grams of 7.5 lead. With the
first barrel we shot 270 pellets (79% of the total) inside a circle with a diameter of 750 mm (29.5”), while inside the
