middle circle, with a diameter of 350 mm (13.8”), there were 127 pellets (47% of those on target). We had excellent
results also with the second barrel at 34 meters, with 304 pellets (89% of the total) in the large circle and 180 pellets

After the outstanding results obtained on the pattern plate, I had the opportunity to test the shotgun while Trap
shooting. The launches, designed by Perazzi technicians to test their shotguns in extreme conditions, turned out to
be anything but easy: there are some clays that fall after over 80 meters (87 yards) and low “out of frame” targets that
seem impossible to hit, but, despite everything, the High Tech 2020 allows me to easily tackle them. I immediately
like the shotgun: the eye/rib alignment is perfect and soon I start to effortlessly break clays. The balance is excellent:
the weight is concentrated in the central part, which leads to excellent control of the gun. The swing is fluid and it
allows you to reach even the highest clays without effort. There is a feeling of extreme speed: with a slight force you
can instantly acquire the target and shoot. The shotgun does not slip out of hand during movement and it remains
stable when firing, allowing, if necessary, to successfully shoot a second time. Compared to the MX8, which I know
very well, the 2020 seems to be even faster and I can easily shoot extremely quickly without jerking the trigger.
The feeling of speed is certainly amplified by the 7x10 mm rib: since it is thinner at the breech, it creates a wider
field of view, so the peripheral vision is greater and the eye can promptly acquire the target.
I fired several 24 and 28-gram
cartridges, of different brands
and type, with all of them getting
excellent hits. The quality of the
barrels is also highlighted at the
moment of firing: there is a muffled
and “rounded” noise, with no
tuning fork effect or annoying
vibrations. The trigger is crisp and
light, perfect for skeet shooting,
with a very short reset that always
guarantees good follow-up
shots. The overall weight of 3,773
