Beretta Trail Mid GTX Vibram star trek

The outsole used for the Trail mid gtx is the Vibram
Star Trek, equipped with a TPU insert in the central
part that guarantees greater stability. The shape
of the outsole improves the outflow of water,
mud and snow, always ensuring excellent grip
on any type of terrain. The midsole is made of
polyurethane with a particular structure that is
cushioning at the heel and rigid at the center.
The insole is made of three elements: a lower
layer of felt to increase thermal insulation,
an intermediate one made of memory foam
to improve comfort and, finally, a thin layer
of jersey in the upper part, useful to absorb
moisture and to keep the foot perfectly dry.

The correct fit of the boots is guaranteed
by a lacing system that provides 8 pairs
of steel fastening points. The four lower
pairs have a ring structure, while the
upper four are hooks, which make it
easier to put the boots on. The laces
are sturdy and characterized by
a color scheme that evokes the
traditional colors of Beretta:
brown, orange and yellow.

We put the Trail Mid gTX to the test with a series of Insulation H H H H H
challenging hikes in the high mountains, even on rough Comfort H H H H H
and rocky terrain. The results were excellent, with
good comfort from the get go and, above all, a very Rigidity H H H H H
solid footing. The rather rigid leather structure holds Waterproofing H H H H H
the ankle well and does not flex too much, allowing
the outsole to grip the ground correctly even when the
slope is very steep. Thermal insulation is quite high:
acceptable with the temperatures close to 15 °C that
characterized our tests in the mountains, but certainly data sheet
