Zamberlan 966 Saguaro GTX RR

amberlan is a historic Italian manufacturer that for
Zover 90 years has been producing boots for hunting
and hiking. The 966 Saguaro GTX RR are designed
for mountain hunting and offer considerable torsional
rigidity to provide the correct stability even on the
most difficult terrain. These boots offer great protection
from the elements, while being characterized by an
intermediate level of thermal insulation that makes
them ideal for hunting during autumn.

The Zamberlan Saguaro are equipped with a sturdy
Nubuck upper, with a thickness between 2.4 and
2.6 millimeters, which helps to increase the overall
stiffness of the boot. The upper has a one-piece
construction, with the tongue obtained from a fold
in the leather, which, therefore, does not move
when walking. The leather is characterized by the
Hydrobloc surface finish, a treatment patented by
Zamberlan that increases waterproofing, resistance to
abrasion and durability. The boots are equipped with
a high rubber rand, which protects the upper from
abrasion. In the rear part of the boot there is a rigid
support which, in addition to protecting the upper,
also helps to keep the heel firmly in place.
The Zamberlan Saguaro are boots with a rather high cut and a
high torsional stiffness, suitable for hunting in the mountains,
even on the most inaccessible terrains.

The structure of the upper part of the boot is optimized to provide
the ankle with the correct support, guaranteeing perfect stability even
on steep terrain and uneven ground. The uppermost part is made of
soft leather, with a soft padding that improves comfort, while at the
malleolus there is a padded cushion that protects the foot. There are
also two thick rubber strips, which offer more support while increasing
stiffness. Waterproofing is guaranteed by the Goretex Performance
Comfort membrane, which, in combination with the thick leather
upper, offers proper thermal insulation for intermediate temperatures.
