New spotting scopes by swarovski
Swarovski optik enriches its range of spotting scopes with two new products,
designed for mountain hunting and for the most demanding activities, when even
a few grams of weight in the backpack can make the difference. The new Atc and
Stc, respectively with 45° angled and straight eyepiece, are both charatcterized by
extreme compactness and lightness and by 17-40×56 magnification. Swarovski’s
goal was to maintain a high optical performance, but with a smaller size, a challenge
that, said Stefan Hämmerle of Swarovski marketing department, required “a great
deal of commitment from our optical calculators and our designers”.”To make the
Atc/Stc telescopes”, added Hämmerle, “we had to push physics to the extreme. And
the result is exceptional”.
The Atc model, with angled eyepiece, weighs only 970 grams and measures 258 millimeters in length, while the Stc version
weighs 10 grams more and measures 285 millimeters in length. Atc is available in two colors, green or orange, while Stc is only
produced in green. Both devices are compatible with Vpa adapters, which allow you to fix the smartphone to the eyepiece and
capture images through the lenses, and are equipped with a transport set.
The new Swarovski telescopes can boast the Swarovision technology, which guarantees sharp and bright images, while the half-
shell allows to use the instruments on a backpack, to obtain a good stability even without the use of a tripod. Swarovski Atc and Stc
will be available in gunshops starting from October, price from 2,610 Usd.
